The Jewish Relief Agency (JRA) is a dynamic, volunteer driven organization whose mission is to assist low-income families according to their individual needs. Through meaningful and fun events which are attractive to a broad base of volunteers, JRA satisfies our unique desire to take care of each other and do good in the world. Monthly food boxes are delivered directly to the door of our recipients, making sure their pantry is never on empty. JRA’s work is fueled by our volunteers who pack and deliver food and provide aid and comfort in a variety of ways. All of our volunteers, Jews and non-Jews alike, are united by a common commitment to help those in

need and strengthen community. Through community service, JRA nourishes body and soul.

Since  its founding in 2011, JRA has been bringing families and individuals together each month in a spirit of community and repairing the world. While JRA is a Jewish organization, we never turn away a person in need, regardless of their religion, race, age, or gender.

 

JRA is an independent 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.

 

JRA works in partnership with synagogues and local Jewish organizations to work together for the greater good.
